Xesol Innovation has been awarded the public tender from the Ciutadella City Council of the island of Menorca for counting people at certain points during the Fiestas de San Juan.
Xesol presented its proposal for the tender along with Tesla in the form of UTE (temporary union of companies) and presented the best economic and technical offer, obtaining the maximum possible points for the tender.
The xStreet business line is aimed at generating and exploiting data with the ultimate goal of improving mobility in cities. The first phase of this line, identify and classify concrete elements, comes from an adaptation of the technology developed for the dynamic perception of the environment system.
In the patron festivals of Ciutadella de Menorca, incoming and outgoing flows of people in different points of the municipality will be counted.
The control of capacity in celebrations, both in open air and covered venues, is something that worries event organizers more and more, especially for safety reasons.
The field of Smart Cities still has a long way to go and artificial intelligence has a lot to offer. Xesol wants to take advantage of its in-depth knowledge in neural networks to be a relevant actor in the coming years in this selected area.
