To support to the internationalization of the Galician companies, the “Cámara de Comercio de Pontevedra, Vigo y Vilagarcía de Arousa” participates as a collaborating entity of the IGAPE (Galician Institute for Economic Promoting) in the Galician Exports Development Plan (Foexga) for 2017/2018. This plan is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund in the framework of the Operational Programme FEDER Galicia 2017-2020. OT3 “Achieve a more competitive business network”.

The main objective of the Plan Foexga is to foster the foreign trade in Galicia and the internationalization of Galician SMEs. The expected result is to increase the number of export companies and consolidate the presence of Galician companies in international markets.
Other actions included in the Foexga Plan are aimed at reaching a greater diversification of exports, both sectorial and geographical. This includes new markets and products in the internationalization processes of the Galician companies, as well as promoting the internationalization culture as a tool for progress and competitiveness.
Recipients of the actions:
Galician companies with a positive report in the IGAPE advanced support programs for internationalization (IG192).
Chargeable investments and expenditures:
- Business mission abroad (including business meetings or trade fair visits taking place in a foreign country).
- Participation in trade fairs and events abroad.
